Everyone needs a passport to enter the United States, but visa requirements change frequently. In general, if you’re from Canada or Bermuda, you don’t need a visa. Also, if you’re from one of the twenty-seven Visa Waiver Program (VWP) countries and have a Machine Readable Passport (MRP) you may stay for up to 90 days without obtaining a visa.
